What is a really good university in America for an MA/PhD in political science/international relations?

Fatima asked:

US news is only giving me 2005 listings for graduate schools and I really don’t know where else to look. Also, could you please give me sources for where you’re getting the information from?

I’m really not sure yet whether I want to specify international relations so I’m keeping it open by including political science. Anything anyone can give me will help. Thanks!

Go to do a search for “political science degrees” it will list some of the school with the best programs.

    Hope this helps!

    Probably the best is Georgetown.

There’s quite a few for International Relations: SIPA at Columbia, Georgetown, SAIS at Johns Hopkins and Fletcher School at Tufts are probably the best.

Not in the top range like those four, but still excellent schools and worth a check: Elliott School at George Washington, School of International Service at American, and then there’s Uni Denver, that just made a very good ranking in Foreign Policy, so it’s definitely worth a look!
    Good luck!
